My 4 y.o. daughter's bedroom approx 2.7m x 2.7m is 'open' on 3 sides and hence a good few degrees colder than rest of house.

Currently there is an old single panel rad measuring approx 173 x 45.

Would it be a good idea to buy a new rad, if so which/what size?

Maximum possible dimensions are 110 x 60 and Screwfix sell a double premium rad this size with 6714 btu.for £77. Would this be a sensible choice, or far too much output? I have no idea what size to get...

Thanks a lot

According to a Btu website you would need a rad of approx. 2500 btu's

Buy the rad from screwfix and a TRV on it and you can adjust the heat down, make sure the loft has at least 270mm of insulation above her bedroom.
