Hi there, could anybody kindly help with this?
I've read that if you have a cold deck roof you must provide ventilation to prevent condensation.
So I have a question about two different kinds of flat cold deck roofs
1) Cold deck flat loft conversion dormer roof. So there is a flat roof and directly below it living space. How does one provide ventilation to this?
2) A cold deck flat roof on the first floor. So this will still have a loft space underneath the roof. If you insulate between the joists of the flat roof and also insulate between the ceiling joists of the room below is it still termed a cold deck?
Many thanks
