Cold flat roof bathroom extension spotlight / insulation conundrum

It actually says between 100 and 240volts. That specification is described as "Input Power" which surely is not correct?
Could you complain to them about this error too, please?

By the way, why did you feel it was necessary to even mention the 240 volts bit?

Also says output voltage 36 volts, maybe supplied with some sort of transformer

The UK mains voltage has not changed for years.
The nominal voltage has.


Some idiots are lying.
Indeed they are, but no matter how many times we ask you, they won't stop.


Please don't be one of them.
I wouldn't dream of it - that position here is already taken, and the job is being performed by such an expert that I could never hope to fill his shoes.
 
You will find that the black box produces an output voltage by transforming the input voltage into something different.
