I think my problem is discharged batteries, not in the kitchen radiator which is not working, but in other rooms, as think they fail open. But also think run time is part of the problem, and run time I think controlled by boiler switch off temperature, so could be simply due to turning the temperature down on the boiler.
It did work, and bleed screws show clear water, TRV batteries changed, set to 22ºC so should be open, the eQ-3 recalibrates its self midday every Saturday, but the boiler run time not very long.
This is typical
the boiler is never activated for very long, and the TRV's don't tend to reach their set temperature, so do not close, or if they do not for long. Pumps are on the return, I am sure if the radiators heated up once it will continue to work, tried turning down TRV's in living room and my bedroom, but did not work, wondered if turning off main house, and turning on flat, and latching the motorised valve will work? That should force water in reverse. Maybe pump damaged when motorised valve micro switch stuck, maybe just needs turning up.
Once rooms are tidied so I can replace the TRV batteries, it may all cure its self, so not going to any great length, I blame my wife for dumping stuff so can't reach the TRV's to charge batteries, but in case I have missed some easy way to jump start the kitchen radiator, thought worth a post.
