Over the last few days some of my rads have been stone cold - 2 upstairs and 2 down.(other 6 working Ok) All the others appear to be fine. I have bled 1 rad and quite a lot of air came out but no change on the cold ones. Only 1 has a thermostat control and that works fine

No obvious problems apart from a very slow drip of water from the boiler about 1 drip an hour.

Its a microbore system (yuck) with a glow worm space saver 45/60 and immersion heater. No problems with hot water yet.

we are planning to replace the whole system early next year when other building works are finished so ideally would like to avoid any significant expenditure.

Many Thanks

Does water come out of the cold rads when you try to bleed them ?

if yes then try turning off all the other radiators except the ones that are cold. This will mean the full force of the pump will be trying to force water through just cold and possibly air locked / cold rads.
