Cold Water Cisterns

I have read alot of books on cold water cisterns and they have all wrote that the miminum size for a direct or indirect systems is different.

Could anyone share any light on this?

how long can one write about cisterns witout repeating yourself or moving into the realm of totally irrelevant?

Hey dude,
Every storage cistern shall be so installed as to minimise the risk of contamination of stored water. The cistern shall be of an appropriate size, and the pipe connections to the cistern shall be so positioned, as to allow free circulation and to prevent areas of stagnant water from developing.
 
He knows, you know ;) the books are talking about Direct/indirect COLD water supply :idea: ie. cold taps Direct from mains all thru` house...or some cold taps indirectly supplied from a cistern (larger cistern in this case).......NB the "witty" answers were all from Corgis :rolleyes: ...plumbers=wit . Corgis=£££££££££to stand in front of your boiler :LOL: :LOL:
