Cold water, Hot Water, Cold Water, Hot....etc,etc

Hello all,
Now, my boiler is a pain!! I have a Halstead and this is my problem I have with it. Getting hot water out of it is a long winded operation. To get hot water out of the kitchen tap or even the bathroom sink tap we either have to run the bath tap really fast until there's a hint of warm water then run the tap we want...eventually it runs hot. If we don't do this we would never get hot water. Can anyone please help??

You don't say which model...but have a look at the diaphragm.
