I have a worcestr 28 si, installed about 15 months, get a banging noise in the boiler 5 secs after turning tap on, last 5 to 10 secs, happens ONLY when tap turned on, anyone have any ideas

Water Hammer probably. Can be annoyingly persistent then vanish. Do a search, but a Surge Arrestor might be needed. Is you mains pressure very high?

many thanks for reply, not sure what is classed as high but it certainly isn`t low, do you think tweaking stop cock down a little might help
