i intend to install a thermostatic mixer shower in my utility room downstairs. i have a combi boiler. can i fit a shower pump to the pipework leading to the shower or are there any pitfalls and problems to look out for?

A combi boiler gives mains pressure hot water so you cannot fit a shower pump nor is it needed.

as far as I'm aware, you can't use a pump with a combi system - but wait for one of the experts on the site to confirm

Why can't my posting above be classed as coming from an expert?

What would I have to do to become an expert? Apart from trying to mend your boiler today that is!
