Hi,
Advice needed please.
I have Worcester 24cdi boiler in my flat.
Recently had an issue and it has been diagnosed as a faulty vessel.
I have been advised due to the age and construction of the boiler that replacing existing vessel will be expensive and long winded.
I have seen online various examples of fitting an external vessel.
Has anyone done a similar fix?

Most examples suggest fitting as close to boiler as practical.
Tee into CH return.

Are there any other issues i should consider? Height? Isolation?

should the existing vessel pipe be sealed off?

all advice welcome. (new boiler is not an option at moment due to recent job loss)

Thanks for reading

yep tee into return / 8 litre vessel
unless existing is leaking no need to cap it off
