Ravenheat combi fires up for about 10 seconds and then just cuts off but continually fires up then cuts off. I know its not the best description in the world but anybody any ideas on the problem. Many thanks

Check the pump is working.
plate to plate heat exchanger possibly, the water cant get through quick enough so its cycling on the stat. Possibly
Try getting someone to take it off and de-scale it
Is it doing it on heat & h/water,if so then check it could be something connected to the fan,maybe the venturi blocked,aps tubes,its firing but not staying on,so maybe the fan isnt running quick enough,has the boiler casing been off lately?,or has it got a black or red cap on top of the boiler,make sure its on,over the small hole
if after trying the above, check central heating thermister if it an older model should be on right hand side almost infront of you.
