When hot water called for boiler makes loud clanking noise. On heating boiler makes no noise.

Don't know this boiler that well, but it does have an electrically driven motorised valve as the diverter and a separate flow switch.
If you're right in saying that it's OK on heating (CH), but noisy on hot water (DHW), I would guess that the pump might not be operating in DHW mode. But if you want to have a crack at fixing this yourself, you'll need a copy of the manual.
