i have to renew my combi boiler as the one i have got isnt going to be powerfull enough as i am adding 2 bathrooms 2 berooms to my house any ideas as to which way to go on this got a £1000 to spend on it.

Worcester Bosch 37 or 42 CDI, they are good boilers on introductory price at the moment.
 
if you want to do with a storage combi then an a alpha cd50 looks good but that is all up to your mains water pressure. storing hot water may be a better way to go but needs more space and work
 
I hope you mean £1000 plus fitting! I would expect a 'straight' swap to be around £1600 + VAT all in.

Keep your existing combi and add an unvented cylinder, no combi is going to supply 3 bathrooms.
