Hi

I'm thinking of having a combi boiler installed in my bungalow. My current heating system has microbore pipework.

Can a combi boiler be connected to microbore pipework or would I need to have the pipework replaced to 15mm?

Thanks all

No problems with a combi on microbore. The only slight problem is that microbore pipes don't flush very well.

Make sure a Magnaclean is fitted at time of boiler install.

As dave said you should have no problems fittin to this type of system, but i would reccommend getting the plumber to add some cleaning chemicals (x400, fernox f5 etc) a couple of weeks b4 he does the job. As dave said mircobore is nourtiously difficult to flush. This way some of the bulid up is already broken down ;)

Thanks again, Rob
