We are looking to replace the shower in our bathroom. At the moment we have an electric one that is a disaster. We have a combination boiler so want one to run of this.
We've been told that the rigid type of hose will allow for better pressure than a flexible one will. The bloke where we went to buy the shower from said no it doesn't make any difference.

Is there any difference, is one better than the other or doesn't it make any difference

load of ball.
lot depends on what you want to spend on a shower £80 or £300.
just check it is combi compatable.

Not really bothered about the cost justt want one that works well and gives a good shower

Thank you thats the bit I know. what i don't know is whether it makes a difference if the hose is rigid or flexible. Both are compatable with a combi we've checked that.

never had any probs with flexi hoses as on bar shower valves or rigid showers.

Yeah sorry shoulda been more specific ,,, makes no difference if a hose or rigid
