Iv fitted a new bathroom suite in a flat, with a combined cylinder just for hot and cold water, no central heating.

iv fitted a new tiolet, new sink with mixer tap, and new mixer shower and there is very little hot water coming from the shower, and the tap is only putting out a bit of hot water.

i havnt touched the kitchen tap but that is the same. i thought it was the gate valve that was bust but iv checked it and its fine.iv asked another guy and he said its because iv fitted new taps, but if that was the case it wouldnt affect the kitchen tap would it?

im guessing its an airlock in the system.
there are washing machine connections just under cylinder. should i connect them and let the cold mains pressure push water back up in the cylinder
