i have a n reg combo van 1.7d when it gets down to half a tank it cuts out you have to get out pump the diesel primer which seams emtey {easy to pump }till it gets hard and some one else has to turn the key it then runs for a while {5miles} and cuts out again there is no vacuum in the tank when you take the filler cap off. i have put all new filters on it {air oil fuel} no difference the van seams to run fine until it gets to half altho i have had it down to a quater before help!!!!!

Probably Failed fuel lift pump in the fuel tank. Get it sorted or the main diesel injector pump may suffer damage and that will cost £££££.
