Comm fail 4

Hi

I have a Galaxy that goes into comm fail 4 more often than not.

It has a Honeywell E080-2 ethernet module.

Do I need to upgrade the module to resolve the problem?

I take it you are using reporting on the GX app via Honeywell?

If the E080 modules try to transmit an event to Honeywell's server and the IP path is down for any reason, the module will flag a COM4 error to the panel. There's no way to stop this on Classic, G2, G3 and Dimension panels.

The SelfMon vmod was designed to stop this happening, but the SelfMon platform is required. SelfMon is more comprehensive and costs £1 a month.

The Honeywell push system went down over the weekend, so most using it would have had COM4 hell.
