Are different makes of 112mm guttering and 68mm downpipe interchangeable?

Some connect to each other with no problems while others just don't

Are different makes of 112mm guttering and 68mm downpipe interchangeable?

A lot of them are yes. Some are slightly bigger/smaller than others. I have split a DP connector when trying to force in a slightly bigger down pipe into it. I have seen gutter ends trimmed to fit into connectors or running outlets.
