Does anybody know if the automatic door openers for garage doors, of the type that operate a chain in a rail, are generally compatible with each other?
I have a door opener which is faulty and I want to replace it ( or maybe have it repaired) without having to replace the rail and other parts that go with it.
Mine has a D spindle which fits in the sprocket that moves the chain.
