Compensation / negligence

Scheister lawyers , ripping people off

nothing new there tbh

4 billion paid out to these rip off merchants to date  by the NHS

Who would have thought lawyers would use Current Gov cutting of legal aid as incentive to bill the NHS in ridiculous ways.

Free market. What would you suggest the Government does.

On all lawyers or just personal injury lawyers?

depends take it on a case by case basis

one of the few (?) proffesions were they actually get paid for failure as well :)

It about time that responsibility was taken by some of these proffesions , fck up take the costs out of there personal pension funds

lawyers , councillers , plod ect ect

Some criminal lawyers earn less than 50k per year.

I suspect there was some procedural incompetence in the quoted case and some interest fees on the conditional fee arrangement.

without legal aid, how do poorer people get access to help other than no win no fee (CFA). Which are stacked full of insurance and interest.

RWR on here.

Who gives a fig about the poor, benefit scroungers, feckless and lazy, they should not get anything the bloody leaches.

Its not really Free market when the taxpayer's are paying.
Although compared to the cost of the Bloody Sunday inquiry it is pocket money.
The Bloody Sunday inquiry cost £200 million to find out what we already knew and make some lawyers millionaires of course.

People don’t realise what they are signing up to. There have been cases where the law firm target the victim because they have wanted to drop a claim. The fees are all on credit, the law firm doesn’t do the work for free. It’s a high interest loans from finance arrangers who take a risk based on the outcome.

because some will get dropped, the ones they win end up copping the fees.
