Composite decking

I have composite decking. I used the nylon inserts for the bulk of the flat area. Our decking has a grove in each of the meeting faces to accept a plastic insert which is then screwed down but I aused the decking screws for the steps. That said we used the extra deep boards for the steps so there was no need for the nylon inserts.
