Hi all,

A friend pointed out an issue with our composite door that is less than 6 months old.

It looks as if the 'skin' as in the coloured part with the wood grain has somehow been pulled off.

I'm guessing that this has happened as it's possibly been cut rough and caught either on the frame when expanding in the weather or possibly on a clumped up bit of the draft excluder fluff.

Anyone come across this before?

There's no way it could have been damaged from outside And it's practically impossible to see how this could have happened from the inside either. There's zero damage to the frame.

Unlikely that that has happened by the frame expanding or being stuck to the gasket. That's a physical chunk missing, possibly hit on something or something has been knocked against it...whether during manufacturer or installation. Problem is proving that it was done during or prior to installation
