im looking at getting a new front door, a maintence free composite door i think they are made out of fibreglass and have a wood grain look to them and come already framed are they any good
i have been told i would be looking at around £400 to £600 supply only for a good one but i have also seen them for over a grand

Personal choice really.
The only experience i have had of these doors in being asked to repair them.
They are really easy to damage, as in dents and scratches and unlike wooden or metal skinned doors are very hard to repair and the average diy'er would struggle to get an invisible repair.
So , like i said personal choice and reflective to your lifestyle.... kids dogs etc etc etc
 
It really depends what you're looking for and which composite doors you're looking for. Ours are expected to go 33 years unmaintained. Their tested with extreme water tests and 30kg balls being droppen on them. GRP faced composite door-set. That's what I'd look into...
