My new composite door and frame arrived today and its looks lovely.
Its very heavy it will be fitting into bricks.
What are the best fixings to use for fitting this door.

Thanks

use frame fixings, same as they use on upvc doors, zebra fixings they sometimes called, and when ya fit it, make sure the frame goes in plumb and true as there is very little adjustment on them doors

....or use concrete screws.

These are screwed directly into the masonry (no need for plugs) and are sold in varying lengths, up to or maybe even beyond 150mm.

They also have a fully threaded shank so they are self-spacing too.

PEDANTRY ALERT!

Thanks for the advice.

What is the best to use? what is the strongest?

Thanks

I personally have never got along with frame fixings, so it's conker screws every time for me.

I hate those frame fixings, I think they are crap.

The thread is usually poop & they never seem to hold as fast as other fixings.
