Hi,
The locking mechanism on my composite door is not withdrawing fully back into the door frame when the handle is turned down to open the door.
To bring the lock 'hooks' back into the door I have unscrewed the handles and used the bottom spindle square to fully release and be able to open the door.
How do i fix the top spindle square as this is the one used on the handle spindle?
Or, how can i replace this spindle square unit? (not sure of the actual component name).
I've attached pictures showing the part and also the half withdrawn mechanism, spindle square front and back.
