Hi I have a composite door with multi lock, it currently has offset door handles, lever inside and pad outside. This being an off set spindle outside pad being lower. I understand how this works, but I attempted to fit a Yale Conexis lock but it wouldn’t work. Once locked it wouldn’t let me pull handle down to open.
Question is I believe I need a single spindle where both handles are level and operate same time. Is this just a case of changing the lock casement or do I need to change the whole door mechanism including latches? Won’t need new handles as will be using Yale Conexis
