Hi we fitted a upvc door last summer, we went round today to adjust the door because it wasnt locking properly.

When we arrived there was a gap between the frame and door at the top on the lock side of aprox 5mm.

This wasnt like this when we fitted it and the door locked fine.

Because of this gap the door wont lock properly unless we apply pressure to the door to get it to close against the frame.

I have tried adjusting the flag hinges. the top and middle hinges adjusted but the bottom hinge wouldnt budge. The compression adjustment would not move at all without rounding the alan key socket. Is this hinge faulty could this be the cause of the problem?

You need to take the beads out and pack the glass. Google "Toe and heel pvc doors"
