Can most concealed cisterns be fitted both ways round. The cistern I have doesnt seem to have a front or back and has screw holes on both sides. It doesnt look like it will make a difference.
It shouldn't make any difference as long as you can connect the water inlet ok. The big hole at the bottom should be in the middle, and the rest is just a tank. Make sure you can get your flush button where you need it tho in case there's only cut-outs on one side.
Most concealed cisterns have a back that usually has a hanger or someway to connect to the wall, can't see any advantage in having one that could be turned around.
Most concealed cisterns are designed to be fitted on either the back or front walls of the cavity created by the false wall, and are generally symetrical, therefore reversible.
Older designs (Macdee Hideaway), made when it was the choice of a syphon or a syphon, generally only have holes for the handle spindle on one side, therefore not reversible.
