I've just finished a shelving unit and want to put downlights in the top shelf. Having recently had the ceiling replastered I don't want to wire them into the lighting circuit. Electrics aren't my thing. I've seen lights that you merely plug in to an existing wall socket. Are they worth considering and what the heck are they called as I'm not sure what to search for on the net?
