Concealed shower not getting hot

Is this usually the cartridge on the temperature dial? Does it just stop letting hot water through? Thanks

Usually yes. Turn to fully hot and feel what happens.

No flow of water? If so, then I’d say definitely the cartridge.

Sorry I'm getting flow of water just no heat when turn it up on the temperature knob.

Check the head or hose isn’t causing a restriction then, if not likely the cartridge. Could also be a failed check valve.

Thanks I'll try and ask the manufacturer if there is any check valve in the shower

That's the style of shower so they usually have check valves on the hot side? Or must likely the cartridge?

Guess there is no easy way of checking the check valve? Just trying to avoid swapping the cartridge if it's not this.
