Concept 6 Intruder Alarm - Power light on key pad flashing

Hi,
I have a Concept 6 intruder alarm. The red power light on the key pad is flashing even though the battery has been changed in main box.
The battery was fully charged - over 2 days before it was installed.
Just now the alarm is working fine, but the power light is flashing much faster than it was before I installed the new battery.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Was battery fuse / output checked ? Is the large battery charging resistor ok ?

It was a brand new battery purchased from Amazon. I also bought a battery charger and ensured it was fully charged before I installed it.

You can buy a new battery for a car ..... But ...if the car not charging it !.......your back to square one !
