Concrete Blocking Cellar Drain

If you could knock a hole through the trap the pipes would bypass the concrete but you would need to seal it to stop any sewer smells coming back

Our old boiler condensate used to drip on to a cement fillet around the drain. Over approx 5 years of use it had formed a hole around the size of a 50p piece around 10-15mm deep.

Using condensate to dissolve the block might take a while....

Before you start tipping acid down the drain you might just want to check that the salt glaze will resist brick acid. I think it will, but the last thing you want is to dissolve the whole. I would also suggest going for the strongest brick acid you can get (in excess of 30%) or it will take forever to work.
