Concrete floor settlement

I'm reopening this subject as I have had the repair carried out by resin injection. This was what was recommended by ins co. However, when the guys came to carry out injection they put camera down our drains, found that the pipes transversed under our property and also saw cracked drains in the vicinity where we had the dropped floor. They suggested that it would have caused the floor to drop. After the repair we contacted our ins company to say we had faulty drains and they sent out a company to investigate. Most of our drains are blocked through root ingress and this is being dealt with, but significantly we had cracking and even partial gaps in our drains underneath our floor where the worst cracks were evident. At present we are trying to get them to accept this fact, but they are saying that if we have a clay based soil then the water leak would not have caused the problem. They have asked for documentary evidence to support our claim. So far the resin guys have said this would have been the cause and are surprised that our ins company was not paying for the repair, and secondly when the drain investigation company that the ins company sent out also saw it, they too said it would have been contributory to the cause. We have raised our concerns and we are getting a personal visit from the company employed by our ins co to handle our claim, but we feel as we have already paid for the repair and we have no 'documentary evidence' we have little to fight with. Any ideas?
Thanking you
