After taking a tile floor up in a ground floor bedroom I found that the concrete base was only 25mm thick on a sand bed and had no dpm. To reinstate the floor to receive a tile finish do I lay another traditional concrete mix down onto dpm or is a 50mm dry screed onto sand ok?
