I've a bag of grey concrete mix, and want to know if it's applied neat (on it's own without water) whether it's waterproof?
The problem is, I've just used a Interior/Exterior filler from Wickes, and didn't read the small print that it needs an additional oil based paint to apply on top to make to 100% waterproof, so my friend has just done quite a bit of guttering re-pointing with just the ready made filler, and within an hour of completing the job it began to rain and you can imagine what happened...yes, it began to sag in areas, so quick thinking today, we decide to reinforce the soft filler with neat concrete powder and force it back in so it can at least be rock hard given some dry weather this weekend.
Will this make it waterproof or?
