Not sure if this is the correct forum. I want to strengthen some rotting fence posts, I have some tanalised timber but want to put some concrete down too.

The posts are in the garden - can I mix small pebbles/gravel with fast set cement, or would I be better using grit sand and ordinary cement with the small pebbles/gravel? Or just post mix?

Bolt a godfather post to the rotten posts and concrete them in.

Postcrete is ok but sets quickly, we rarely use it. Buy bags of ballast (25kg) and mix with cement at 6:1

Apologies, I forgot to say we’re moving house, so don’t want to fork out unnecessarily. Rest of the posts are ok.
Oh botch away then. I left my last house smothered in a few bucketfuls of crap trade emulsion paint!

Can't you just cut a sharp point onto a post and hammer it in? Hammering via a bit of scrap so it doesn't get splintered.
