Concrete post problem

Hi
I've just noticed that one of the concrete posts holding my garden fence up is flaking off, showing the metal inside.
Is it repairable or is there any sort of coating I could apply ?

If the metal is rusty, then this is reason that part of the post has flaked off. The rust has expanded the metal and "blown" the concrete off.

You could do a temporary repair with a strong cement mix but it needs a new post, sorry.
