Concrete roof tiles

Hi
I have Redland Regent size roof tiles my extension is 9m length the size is 418 x 332 mm and less interlock the size is 300mm wide.
I can fit 30 tiles horizontally accounting for overhang I am still left with a gap at one side.
Can I have cut tiles on just one side of the roof? And does it matter where on the tile that cut is?
Also what is the correct overhang measurement ? If I want a 10mm flatboard and I will be using the dry verge system.

If you cut , put the cut to the right side .

Thank you and would it matter if that cut was on the raised part of the profile or the lower part.

Can I just ask why the right? And is that my right stood facing the front.

because the first whole tile will sit over the channel.. right viewed from the front, you tile right to left.
If you put the cut on the left its free to lift
