I'm in the process of redoing the garden and planning to build a 4.5m x 2.2m outbuilding using a concrete slab as a base. There is an existing brick wall which the patio sits on and was planning to build the garden room adjacent to this. However the footings for the wall extend past the wall and there isnt enough space to move the slab over as its relatively close to the boundary.
Would it be advisable/possible to put type 1 mot and a concrete slab partially over the existing foundations (as in the picture attached)? I'm worried about undermining the footings for this wall but understand that another option is to dig down in 1m sections next to the footings and pour the concrete in parts.
Any advice would be appreciated
