Hi all.

I have a utility room attached to my house, which has a concrete slab roof. The room measures 2mx2m and there is a dividing wall in the middle.
I would like to remove the dividing wall, but am not sure if it is supporting the slab. The slab is being supported on the outside walls, so would it be ok to remove the wall?

Thanks.

is the slab precast or cast in situ?
if it is precast then you might be able to look up on span tables
if its cast in situ then you would need to know the size of the rebar
is there a rubber soft joint visible over the top of the wall?
whats the construction of the dividing wall?
are there any openings in the dividing wall?
