Hi I am dealing with a detached house, solid concrete floors which have a varnished tongue and grrove finish. On top of the timber floor a carpet has been laid with underlay. There is a strong musty smell in one corner no pets in the house. No positive protimeter readings obtained to adjoining walls or floor. No decay to carpet grippers no damp on surface of varnished floor.

Strong smell typical of condensation mould ? House was constructed in the early 80's

Any Ideas ?

Thanks
Simon
