Hi everyone , my loft is hard to get around as so low , found droplets of water on the felt as in pictures, also found white mold due to the water, noticed this last year aswel when got cold, it worried me as the rafters where damp in places due to the wet felt and water, hard to check as so low and couldnt get to the end ones also the insulation has dark spots where has obviously been dripping in the past years,i will attatch some pictures. What do you think is best course of action ? I will need a roofer out but you think some sort of ventilation ?

Thanks any advice welcome and appreciated
Dean

Check ventilation is Ok in house generally. Drying wet washing (for example) produces water vapour than can reach the loft space. Otherwise ventilation in the roof space and/or roof tile missing or broken.

Blup

I have been using dehumidifier with washing, i do normally get humidity upstairs on windows etc but do my best to kartcher on morning and dont put clothers directly on radiator etc, i think i will ring a roofer to check the roof and give see what they think is best maybe not enough of draft up there and just needs vents. Its the water getting onto the rafters that bothers me if i am honest as dont want them getting wet.

Thanks dean
