Why have my sealed units got condensation inside them. do they need replacing

This usually happens when the seal around the edge of the units has failed. Yes you would need to replace the unit. Do you still have a warranty for them? how old are the units?

No I don,t have a warranty on them they are about 6 years old. the units are in a hardwood frame and sealed in with a bit of silicon. if I replace the units do i still use silicon to seal them in place or is there something more suited to hardwood frames.
cheers
