I had a composite front door fitted 9 months ago.
My problem is that there is condensation appearing on the metal fittings on the inside of the door.
The metal sill at the bottom of the door, and the nuts which cover the bolts holding on the knocker drip water on really cold days.
The handle is OK, and the condensation on the letterbox only appears on the inside of the outer flap.
Can anyone give me advice on how to stop the condensation on the sill and nuts?

The door does have a glass panel, which does not get condensation. Only these metal parts.
It's not rain ingress, as the knocker is sheltered.

heeelllooo and welcome EllenG :D :D :D

moisture condenses on the coldest surface
these will stop the nuts

if you place a bit off foam in the letterbox that will help of course you will have to reinsert every time something comes through the letter box

dependant on design a couple off layer off electrical tape may reduce the condensation as a thermal barrier

the links above are just for guidence local hardware or electrical wholsalers may be cheaper than postage
