Condensation on garage roof

Whenever I do any serious work in the garage if it's cold I get condensation on the roof dripping down. I'm pretty sure there's no leak. It's a simple corrugated sheet asbestos roof, and I've been considering sprayed foam to stop this.

Is there any other way to solve this problem? Any tips on what system to hire/buy to do the job?

You need to increase ventilation plain and simple, increasing the insulation will not in itself aleviate the problem.

You wont get much more ventilation than opening the garage doors to ventilate, and it wont stop the condensation

Your spray foam idea may work, or any other insulation may help

You need something that will reduce the sharp temperature difference between the warm air inside and the cold asbestos.

Spray foam will do this.

Simply adding more ventilation will reduce the temperature differential, but by making your garage cold. Not very useful if you want to work comfortably.

You could add a layer of insulation sheeting, something that will isolate the interior air from the roof. Preferably not polystyrene, as that is flammable, but I am sure there is some sort of board you can use.
