Hi all,

Have some condensations problems in my old victorian flat which im in the process of sorting out as we speak. Its happened in my bedroom, bay window. There is one thing i would like some advice on please. Ive hacked offt the plaster to the internal brick work and i want to paint over the brick with some kind of anti mould paint/damp paint before i re-plaster. Is this a good idea? Does anyone know what sort of paint i should be sing to do this?

Thanks for your help.

First question, What ventilation,if any do you have? This or lack of is usually the cause of heavy condensation.

Thanks for the reply. Dont have any at the moment. Unfortunately i have the old upvc windows with no trickle vents. Been told the best idea is to get some vents puts in the outside ( by way of an air brick im guessing) Do you have any suggestions?
