no drain, downpipe, soil pipe, gutter, nothing nearby. 20mm plastic condensate pipe sticking out of wall. have put bit of cardboard over it to stop it freezing but am worried it might. we have about a foot of snow!
glad to hear that the inline neutraliser should work but still concerned about constant drip of water going outside. thanks for the advice. will try to wrap towel round the neutraliser.
Outside condensate pipes should be lagged and cardboard doesn't really cut it. In an emergency (like tonight!) you could wrap some towels or other material round it and tape it up, but longterm just get some waterproof lagging. Might seem a pain but so is trying to unfreeze one when the heating won't come on in the morning!
