The proposed building is a small bungalow with a mezzanine floor in the roof space over the entrance door in the brick / stone gable end.

Is it permitted to install a condensing boiler on the brick / stone gable end wall above the entrance door ? Ridge will be above the boiler and about 6 feet above mezzanine floor.

If the hot water tank is also installed at that level ( ie above all taps ) what problems could this create ?

Combi boiler is not an option as heating will be supplemented by re-newable sources.

dont see why not as long as any disgharge pipework is clear of the walkway

and lighting flooring regs are met etc
