how many 2.5 singles can u get down a 20mm conduit? can u get 6
2.5's and 3 4mm's??????

Havn't got my OSG to hand but it depends on how long the run is and how many bends.I'm sure someone will oblige...............

In theory, according to the IEE on-site guide, you can get 10 2.5mm singles in a 20mm conduit - if it is a straight run under 3 metres.
Once you have a longer run or bends the figure drops dramatically.

Once again in theory 6 x 2.5 and 3 x 4.0 would fit in a straight run.

Factors applied - 2.5 - 6x43=258
4.0 - 3x58=174

Total 432

Conduit factor 460

But I suggest you use plenty of yellow 77

That stuff's fantastic until your cables come of the draw wire and you try to pull them through again but struggle cos your hands are too slippery, I've been there many a time :D

Maybe I've been lucky, but in all my years of drawing singles through conduit (many miles.......), I've never had them come off the fishtape.

Other situations, yes, but not conduit!
